PFA Canada is a democratic organisation run by the players, for the players.
Members elect a Board of Directors made of current and former professionals who are responsible for the business of the union.
The Board is supported by an Executive Director and Legal Counsel.
bargain
As the formal bargaining agent for CPL players, PFA Canada is committed to creating a fair and transparent balance of interests through a collective bargaining agreement that addresses all aspects of the player-league relationship.
assist
PFA Canada provides legal guidance and representation related to the CPL Standard Player Contract and matters concerning discipline.
PFA Canada also provides the same for Canadians playing abroad and in non-union competitions at home.

PFA Canada engages stakeholders, media, and government decision-makers to ensure players’ desire for a fair and transparent domestic football industry is understood.
With assistance from FIFPRO and guidance from in-house legal counsel, PFA Canada is positioned to negotiate meaningful space for CPL players so they may exercise greater say in their workplace and create conditions that will permit young athletes in Canada to view professional soccer as a viable career choice.
